During the month of June in Trapani there will be three events linked to the world of vintage cars.
The first in chronological order will be that of June 13th organized by the Fiat Sicilia Registry which will organize a car rally in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele from 10am to 1pm.
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele will also be the location for the event organized by the Scuderia del Castello di Alcamo sports association in collaboration with Old Motors of Malta which will present an exhibition with around 40 vintage cars, mostly English, from 9.30am to 4pm in the afternoon.
The month of June will then close with the XXV historical re-enactment of Trapani Monte Erice scheduled from 29 to 30 June to enhance the conservation and restoration of vehicles of historical and collectible interest.
In these two days the event, registered in the Tricolore Circuit of the ASI (Italian Historical Automobile Club), includes on the first day the reception and inspection of the vintage cars participating in the "Dynamic Competition" coming from all over Italy in the Piazza area Vittorio Emanuele, while in the evening the cars will leave the square to head towards the historic city center for the presentation of the crews.
On June 30th the cars, after having stopped all night in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, will leave early in the morning to reach Valderice.
As we were saying, this is an event that intends to recall the famous Trapani-Monte Erice car race which has taken place on the roads of the summit since 1954 in a very close competition.
Beyond simple parades or static exhibitions, these three events are a source of pride, because you have the opportunity to admire splendid examples of cars that have written the most exciting pages of motoring, some even between the two wars.
