This year, on the occasion of the fifth edition of Trapani Comix, there are many new things planned. Starting from the collateral events of the event such as two exhibitions always dedicated to the heroes and protagonists of the noble art of comics.
One of these exhibitions, which can be visited free of charge, is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Tex´s birth and the large public of enthusiasts will be able to visit it in the atrium of Palazzo Cavarretta until 26 May, with the exhibition of original tables and drawings from a private collection .
The other exhibition will be set up at the 112 Ricami art gallery in via Serisso. The title of the exhibition is "Stories from the South of the World", a solo exhibition by the Trapani illustrator and cartoonist Antonio Cammareri, aka Commamoro.
Returning to the Trapani Comix fair, this year too the bright Villa Margherita will be the location. Having started almost silently in 2019, it has now become one of the most awaited moments of the year by all fans of comics, cosplayers and video games who this year too will crowd the stands set up, to experience a moment of healthy and pure escapist fantasy from the stressful wear and tear of everyday life.
Trapani Comix is a brand of Nerd Attack, a group of young people from Trapani who have managed to transform a genuine passion into the event that opens the summer tourist season.
Trapani Comix is created in collaboration with the Luglio Musicale Trapanese and the Municipality of Trapani and is not only a fair full of stands, shows and cosplay but also a meeting place where it is possible to socialize thanks to the different areas dedicated to videogames, board games and, new this year, even an entire area dedicated to the Rising Sun.
There will be no shortage of moments of entertainment with a rich program of musical artists and more who will take turns on the stage of the Giuseppe Di Stefano theater during the three days of the event.
There are many thematic areas where young and even less young enthusiasts will be able to meet designers, illustrators and colourists for a moment of comparison with this fantastic world.
