The appointments with great music continue in Trapani and there is great excitement for Ron´s concert who returns to the theater with a new live performance entitled "At the Exact Center of Music", a musical show that will take place on the stage of the Cine Teatro Ariston of Trapani on Wednesday 24 April at 9.00 pm.
There will be two hours in which Rosalino Cellammare, aka Ron, will entertain the audience with twenty songs chosen from his vast repertoire, where he will relive great emotions with his greatest successes. Ron was born in Dorno, a small town in the province of Pavia, and is considered among the main songwriters of his generation, receiving numerous awards during his 57-year career, including two Lunezia Awards, the Venice Music Awards, the Criticism Mia Martini, the Bindi Award and the latest in chronological order The Tenco Lifetime Achievement Award received in 2023 during the 46th review of songwriting at the Ariston Theater in Sanremo.
Now another debut is expected for Ron at another Ariston theatre, which does not have the same prestige as the one in Sanremo, but he is equally anxious to listen to his music, which goes straight to the hearts of the people.
On the stage in Trapani Ron will perform with guitar and piano, accompanied by the other musicians, who will be sharing this extraordinary tour of Italian theaters with him from February 27th.
We were saying that Ron has been making music for many years and ironically he made his debut in 1967, the year in which Luigi Tenco died, a singer-songwriter he loved so much, so much so that he dedicated an intimate version of "Lontano, Lontano, a great success" to him. by Luigi Tenco, with which the artist from Pavia opened the 2023 edition of the Tenco award, then recording the song a few months later.
Ron participated in eight Sanremo Festivals, including the one in 1996 which saw him as the winner paired with Tosca with the song “Vorrei incontrarti fra cent´anni”, which was much talked about in that period, suspecting that the votes of the televoting were rigged in his favor. The song won because it is beautiful and among other things that year it won the prestigious "Volare" critics´ award.
