The Nuovo Gruppo Equestre Monterice association is organizing the 13th edition of the event dedicated to purebred Arabian horses on 18 and 19 May in Trapani. The center of the event will be Piazza Vittorio Emanuele which will be used as a passage for the horses to reach the neighboring competition field.
This is a competition in which hundreds of purebred Arabians from the best national and international breeding farms will compete. The initiative born in 2010 as a regional trophy has grown to become an international competition, having effectively transformed from a national B competition into an international category B one, so much so that it was included by ANICA as the first stage of the annual circuit and is therefore the most important event and the highest category in all of central and southern Italy.
Over the years, the Nuovo Gruppo Equestre Monterice association has organized and managed several shows with great attraction for numerous tourists and visitors; in particular, in the years 2016 and 2017 the association had the honor of organizing an international equestrian show in the city of Palermo, giving many emotions and satisfactions and doing its utmost to ensure professionalism and hospitality to guests in a breathtaking natural landscape such as the Parco della Favorite which served as a splendid setting for an unparalleled show.
Spectator attendance was around thirty thousand and the accommodation facilities were sold out. And again in 2017 the association organized another show in S. Vito Lo Capo, highlighting how the purely competitive aspect combines perfectly with the socio-economic and cultural one, transforming the competition into a great event that involves a community entire with many collateral events with themed shows, tasting of typical products, displays of riding equipment, entertaining both adults and children.
