One thing that enchants all year round, especially when the weather permits, is the sea which in San Vito Lo Capo is extraordinary even in December because the seaside village, kingdom of couscous, is always beautiful because it enchants and relaxes.
And this is why for Christmas a rich program of events and demonstrations has been set up for residents and tourists who want to visit San Vito Lo Capo in the most magical period of the year as if it were summer. Practically until January, Makari and Castelluzzo will also be festively decorated for the "Christmas Together" event to the delight of adults and children.
As tradition dictates, there will be Santa´s village which is set up in Piazza Santuario and will be the heart of the entertainment with games for children and performances by dance schools throughout the holiday period.
Dance will be the queen of Christmas in San Vito Lo Capo with various performances both in the square and in the municipal theater with various shows including the musical "Jesus" to discover the birth of Jesus by the Il Sipario company. Furthermore, on 28 December, again at the municipal theatre, there will be the classic Christmas concert by the Maria SS wind orchestra. Custonaci.
As always, New Year´s Eve is in the square in San Vito Lo Capo with music, games and entertainment to toast the new year; appointment, therefore, starting from 11pm in Piazza Santuario where the bottle of sparkling wine will be promptly uncorked to bid farewell to 2023 and greet 2024 with the hope that it will be better than the year just ended.
Once New Year´s Eve has passed, Santa Claus´ village gives way to that of the Befana, which however will be set up in Castelluzzo in the main square of the town.
The event will end on Sunday 7 January with a show at the municipal theater entitled "God´s will be done". Free entry.
