This year too, the lights will be turned on for Christmas in Trapani with a program of attractions that attract the attention of children to make these holidays joyful. As always, the activities, sponsored by the municipal administration of Trapani and the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, are part of the "Mediterranean Christmas" event which this year has reached its fifth edition.
The main attraction this year is the presence of the Ferris wheel in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, which has already attracted the curiosity of many because it imposingly overlooks the city full of lights and colours.
Cost of tickets which include two tours: seven euros for adults and five euros for children up to ten years old.
The Ferris wheel was inaugurated on Friday 24 November as was the ice rink built at the municipal villa. Both attractions will be available until January 28, 2024.
These, however, are not the only Mediterranean Christmas attractions, because this year too there will be Santa Claus´ house in front of Villa Margherita and in Piazza Ex Mercato del Pesce the classic Christmas markets will be set up until 29 December organized by the Labor et Expo association.
The entire square will be festively decorated with 15 gazebos displaying entirely handmade and Christmas-themed products. Inside the market there will be a "photo with Santa" space and creative workshops for adults and children.
Another Christmas event is "Christmas at the Cloister" in the rooms of the cloister of S. Domenico on Sunday 3 December to promote the cultural and artistic richness of craftsmanship and beyond, thanks to the talent of artists and artisans present in our area.
