The "Egadi Estate 2023" review has kicked off, a rich container of events and shows that will brighten the summer of the Egadi archipelago with a high quality program, which ranges from music to cinema and from culture to sport.
The review sponsored by the municipal administration and created in collaboration with local associations intends to promote the history, identity and long tradition of cultural offer and inclusion for all visitors who choose the Egadi archipelago to spend their holidays.
There are several appointments scheduled starting from the Marettimo Italian Film Fest, which is held every year on the furthest island of the Egadi from 19 to 22 July. Among other things, this edition promises to be quite rich thanks to the presence of prestigious guests such as Maria Grazia Cucinotta. and the performance of the Colapesce-De Martino duo for the final evening.
For lovers of books and literature in general there is the review "How is the deep sea" from 25 to 29 July with the participation of important writers and screenwriters.
As far as Levanzo is concerned, which will obviously not be abandoned, on August 2nd there will be "E...state in Levanzo with a program full of events that will cover the entire month of August, while on August 12th, again in Marettimo there will be "Ferragosto and surroundings" and in Favignana the mid-August includes two major appointments in the main square with music to wait and celebrate together the longest night of the summer.
The warm season is not only July and August, but also September with the third edition of the "Mediterraneo Jazz" from 1 to 3 September, while on 8 and 9 September there will be the Festival of the seaside village of Punta Longa with music and gastronomic tastings.
Culture returns on 26 September with the celebrations on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of Donna Franca Florio, while the "Fishtuna Festival" with a festival on the traditions linked to sustainable tuna fishing will close the festival at the end of September.
