The "4 Linee" contemporary art exhibition organized by the Passepartout association under the patronage of the municipality of Trapani will be inaugurated on Sunday 11 June at the former Convent of S. Domenico.
It is a collective exhibition and precisely the title "4 Lines" takes up the fact that there are four artists who exhibit their works, recalling styles, methods and techniques that are different from each other, but which have only one thing in common: the Trapani origin.
All four artists, in fact, are young people from Trapani, who trained outside but who have decided to return to their city to make themselves known and appreciated. These are Giovanna Colomba, Massimiliano Errera, Piergiorgio Leonforte and Giuseppe Martinico.
Giovanna Colomba graduated with honors in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and is already known to the Trapani public for having conceived the project "Jazz al centro", an extraordinary musical container that since 2013 combines different forms of art in a single creative context.
Piegiorgio Leonforte (stage name Piriongo) is another great protagonist of this artistic kermesse, who started quietly, has already conquered the international art markets with his extraordinary artistic verve, since his works are sold all over the world .
Known to the people of Trapani for his activity as a graphic designer, but also as a good volleyball player in the amateur and federal championships, he visits the most prestigious Italian galleries such as the Casati in Monza, the San Babila in Milan and the Monocromo Art in Rome.
Giuseppe Martinico (stage name Bomart) has his specialty, that is, he creates his works of art by recycling the wood brought ashore from the sea, even if he also uses other natural materials.
Another artist from Trapani on display is Massimiliano Errera who expresses himself through his works to tell surreal fairy tales.
In short, four artists and four different styles with as many different life stories in a single exhibition, which visitors can also admire in a live artistic performance.
The exhibition, therefore, will be inaugurated on Sunday 11 June at 6 pm and can be visited free of charge every day from 10.30 to 12.30 and from 17.30 to 20.00 in a truly suggestive context such as the former convent of S. Domenico , but which will be enriched on Saturday 17 June by the singing performance of the singer Roberta Genna in a concert.
