The event most loved by children returns to San Vito Lo Capo, but also by adults who have remained a bit of a child deep down, the Kite Festival, which will return from 3 to 11 June, keeping everyone with their emotions turned upside down as always.
Since the first edition, the slogan of the international event now in its thirteenth edition has been precisely this because seeing a kite vibrating in the sky is always an indescribable emotion and brings together thousands of tourists and visitors in the seaside village who love to immerse themselves in a joyful and creativity that colors the sky with kites of the strangest shapes and sizes.
The idea of this festival comes from Ignazio Billera who for many years has organized it with many sacrifices, but for some years now the responsibility of the organization has fallen to the Feedback agency in collaboration with the municipality of San Vito Lo Capo which has picked up the baton.
For the uninitiated, the agency is the same that organizes the Cous Cous Fest and therefore with the same "know how" a week will be given away with free flight exhibitions, but also workshops dedicated to children, moments of tasting and entertainment with various shows.
The program also includes acrobatic flying, night flying and kite surfing exhibitions based on the weather conditions and above all if there is the right wind, while fixed and guaranteed appointments are, as we said, the shows thanks to the presence of a stage in Piazza Santuario .
A novelty is the one dedicated to nature with excursion moments for adults and children; in particular for children, every day from 10 to 16 a trip to discover the beauties of the nature of Monte Monaco with medium-easy routes guided by specialized instructors.
All the moments of the Kite Festival will be covered by Radio 102 which will broadcast live every day from the beach with interviews with the kite flyers.
