Even Favignana and the whole Egadi archipelago are preparing to celebrate Holy Christmas with a series of events and shows that attract many visitors as always, because Favignana is not only a summer destination, but it is also a destination to visit even in the period winter.
For those wishing to spend the holidays in the largest of the Egadi, know that the municipality of Favignana with the Marine Protected Area and the "Allegria" association has prepared a calendar of events for the entertainment of the little ones without forgetting, however, the fragile and those most marginalized who especially in this period of crisis deserve particular attention.
Shows, concerts, entertainment for children, music, tastings and much more until 8 January and then dulcis in fundo a tradition to be respected on Christmas day: a group of authentic daredevils, like every year, will challenge the cold and the temperature certainly not summer of the sea for another edition of the Christmas dive.
On Christmas morning, a group of about ten people will be ready to jump into the water wearing Santa´s hat to celebrate Christmas day in the most unusual way, that is with a swim between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Strait of Sicily.
The group of daredevils will not only be made up of adults but also of children in thermal wetsuits and the entire performance will be filmed by many people who, with their cell phones, will resume the audacious undertaking, which has attracted media attention in recent years national.
Returning to the much more Christmas events, a huge marquee has been set up in the city center, in which all the events will be concentrated with games, animations with music and Walt Disney characters.
