In Trapani, the lights have already been turned on to breathe in a healthy Christmas atmosphere with a series of events that will keep young and old company until the Epiphany.
The first in chronological order is Natale in Piazza, which takes place from 8 to 24 December in the suggestive Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, closed to traffic for some years to become the center of cultural expression of the city.
In the fifteen days preceding Christmas, there will be this fair dedicated to crafts, typical products, publishing, objects and the ever-present vintage that always has its admirers.
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele will therefore be transformed into a huge Christmas village with lights and sounds that will cheer up the environment in these rather gloomy times due to the war and the energy crisis that is putting many families and businesses in difficulty.
The purpose of Christmas in the Square is precisely this, to keep the square cheerful, entertaining the children, but over time directing citizens to the right purchase of Christmas gifts and helping the commercial sector.
Christmas in the Square is organized under the patronage of the municipality of Trapani by the Artigianando association, which is a cultural body that since 2012 has been involved in relaunching the creative excellence of the territory first in the province of Palermo and then in all of Sicily with high-impact events cultural.
It is in this wake that Natale in Piazza presents itself for the first time in our territory, because Trapani needs events like this to implement the relaunch it needs by offering its experience and embracing areas that are not only food and wine, but .
