San Vito Lo Capo is not only sea and events related to the sea, but also open air and mountainous itineraries to be covered thanks to the “Outdoor Fest 2022” event, which will take place precisely in the landscapes around the seaside village from 12 to 16 October.
After "Tempu ri capuna" is the first non-food and wine event that takes place in San Vito Lo Capo and will involve tourists and enthusiasts in a kermesse of events scheduled for the entire month of October.
This commendable initiative, which literally means "out of town", takes place, precisely, outside the town of San Vito Lo Capo in a scenario made up of coastal and mountain paths, of which San Vito Lo Capo is surrounded .
So why not organize something that attracts hikers from all over Europe to the capital of the sea who want to satisfy the legitimate desire to be outdoors, practicing sports that take advantage of these itineraries, namely climbing, mountain biking, kite surfing, sup, slacke. line and much more?
Who would have imagined that the seaside village par excellence was one of the largest climbing resorts in Italy thanks to the impervious walls of Mount Cofano, which have attracted climbers from all over Europe, even if in recent years the desire for adventure of the climbers was satisfied in Cala Mancina, thanks to its cliffs perfectly equipped for sport climbing, from which it is possible to admire a mixed landscape of sea and mountains at the same time.
Like all events, the Outdoor Fest is also sponsored by the municipality of San Vito Lo Capo, which until the end of October has set up a program of events with a view to an increasingly frequent seasonal adjustment of tourism thanks to the mild climate of Sicily.
