After a year of hiatus due to the pandemic and after last year´s smart edition again due to Covid restrictions, the event that brings together different flavors and smells through couscous, returns from 16 to 25 September with live concerts. the Cous Cous Fest of San Vito Lo Capo, which this year celebrates its twenty-five years of life.
Since 1997 the Cous Cous Fest in San Vito Lo Capo has launched a message of peace, and due to the war in Ukraine even more this year from the beach of San Vito Lo Capo this message becomes even stronger, so that the weapons are silent and finally politics and diplomacy resume their role.
The Cous Cous Fest of San Vito Lo Capo is much more than a simple festival, but a great gastronomic event at the end of the summer with great guests from entertainment and music, but above all great Italian and international chefs who will compete in a challenge up to last grain of semolina.
In fact, the great chefs will be the protagonists of a competition, which at the end of the event will end with a winner decreed by a jury, who will taste over thirty recipes of cous cous.
Also this year, several tasting villages will be set up along the streets of San Vito Lo Capo and on the beach to allow the numerous visitors to taste the various specialties and attend the cooking skows, which will enhance the lively artisan and agri-food production of Sicily.

Fresh from marriage, Paola Turci will perform on 18 September, who will also be the protagonist of a talk within the event. On September 19, however, the Med Free Orchestra, a Roman musical group, will perform, representing an important artistic reality, refined and very attentive to inclusion issues.
On September 20, Ermal Meta will be the protagonist, a famous Albanian singer-songwriter but naturalized Italian since he moved to Bari at the age of 13 with his mother, brother and sister, abandoning Albania and a somewhat violent father.
On September 21, however, Piero Pelù will perform on stage, who after leaving Litfiba, the famous rock group he helped to found, became known as a soloist for his political commitment through his music.
On 22 September the great music continues with the concert by Lello Analfino and on 23 September with the popular orchestra "Notte della Taranta".
