The literary review of extraordinary cultural importance is back on 6 July, "Books, authors and bonganville", which this year reaches its twenty-second edition.
Born from an idea of the writer and journalist Giacomo Pilati, in recent years with the patronage of the municipality of S. Vito Lo Capo the literary review has offered valuable opportunities for readers and writers to meet in a truly suggestive location surrounded by jasmine and boungaville. , hence the name of the event, which every year attracts several famous writers of great national fame.
Just to name a few, the review divided into a cycle of fourteen meetings will debut on Wednesday 6 July at 9.30 pm with Simone Tempia, author of the very popular "Lloyd" saga with the latest chapter of the series.
On July 8 it will be the turn of Alessandra Ruggirello who presents her love novel "I´ll wait for you in Makari", where the title already evokes the famous town a few kilometers from S. Vito Lo Capo with its splendid landscapes and truly sunsets unique.
On 20 July, Toto Cascio will be the guest, the unforgotten actor who, when he was a child, starred in the Oscar-winning film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso". In the splendid setting of the garden of the Town Hall he will present his autobiography and will explain the reason why he decided to abandon his acting career in advance.
The catwalk with famous authors continues on July 28 with the Mediaset journalist Toni Capuozzo who explains in his book "Balcania", the horror of war and what the possible solutions to conflicts may be. A historical examination that will make us better understand the conflicts of today, in particular the one that has bloodied Ukraine in recent months.
And again on July 30, the TV presenter of Linea Verde, Federico Quaranta will present his book "Terra", a tour through the pages of the book among the beauties and wonders of our country.
The month of August will open with Antonio Caprarica, already Rai sent to London who will present his book "William & Henry", practically a story about the background of the relationship between the two brothers.
Furthermore, the former magistrate Pietro Grasso could not miss this parterre to present the book "My friend Giovanni", a sort of portrait of the unforgettable friend Giovanni Falcone.
The review will close on August 26 with Tina Montinaro, widow of one of the escort agents killed in the Capaci attack who will present the book "Negotiation", two love stories in comparison, one true and autobiographical and the other imaginary lived against the backdrop of the fight against the mafia.
