As the title itself says in English, "San Vito Buskers" is an event dedicated to street artists, in particular to circus artists who will animate the streets of San Vito Lo Capo from 17 to 19 June with juggling, musical, clown and mime performances. with living statues, storytellers, fire-eaters and waders for joy and fun, as is often said, for young and old.
This event brings with it a great charm, because today where leisure and entertainment are characterized by even very sophisticated technology, seeing people performing on the street even with simple and artisanal means, is always very beautiful and attractive especially in the period summer when it leaves the TV to spend more time outdoors.
We often think that street art is stuff for beggars to scrape together some offers, but history teaches us that the greatest artists, who have made or are making the history of the show, started performing right on the street, as if was a springboard for a brilliant and very bright career.
One of these, and we donīt go very far in time, is the Maneskin group, who, before winning Sanremo or Eurovision, started performing on the street or, conversely, there are cases of established artists who on various occasions decided to improvise themselves as artists. of the street, disguising himself also for the pure fun of not being recognized by the public as Sting or the more local Biagio Antonacci.
Returning to the San Vito lo Capo event, the appointment with the street artists, as we said, is for Friday 17 June until Sunday 19 June with performances on the seafront or near the Sanctuary from the afternoon until late at night to entertain the many tourists who already flock to San Vito Lo Capo.
