After the great success of the Fabio Concato concert, another great artist of Italian author music, Nino Buonocore, returns to Trapani, who will bring his greatest hits completely revisited to the stage of the Ariston theater in Trapani.
Nino Buonocore began his musical activity in 1976 by recording two singles with the pseudonym Davy Jones and then two others with that of Adelmo Ferrari, but finally in 1978 his real name appears on the cover of the record in a single that contains songs written in Neapolitan language, his city of origin.
After a participation in the 1982 Festivalbar and another at the Sanremo Festival the following year with the song "Nuovo Amore", which received wide critical acclaim, we will have to wait for the 1987 Sanremo Festival, where on the stage of a another famous Ariston theater, Nino Bonocore has the real turning point not only musical but also artistic with the piece "Rosanna", which is still one of his greatest successes today.
Very shy and reserved, in that year in Sanremo, in fact, he stands out for being the most shy singer of the singing festival, but no less appreciated for this.
From the very beginning Buonocore has had Renzo Arbore as an admirer, who has always spoken of him as one of the best young artists on the Italian music scene.
In fact, 1990 is the year of Buonocore, where his single "Write me", which is another most successful song, conquers the world heights, selling it all over the world with over 3 million copies.
Years of reflection and silence followed until 1998 with an album written in collaboration with Claudio Mattone entitled “Alti & Bassi”.
In the Trapani concert on March 18, Nino Bonocore will musically retrace these 40 years of career, culminating in 2021 with "Live", an album that contains the recording of his live concert, which took place at the Parco della Musica auditorium in Rome.
In this concert Buonocore retraces his production in a jazz version, a style that from 1988 onwards has characterized his musical activity thanks to the artistic partnership with Chet Baker, a true icon of jazz music worldwide.
