The great musical review at the Ariston theater in Trapani continues with another great event on the bill.
After Fabio Concato´s concert on January 28th, Thursday February 10th will be the turn of a young singer-songwriter from Palermo, certainly not as famous as Concato, but no less talented: we are talking about Alessio Bondě, who brings the new album to the stage on his tour. entitled "Maharia".
It is a term that only a few know today, because it is a word in the narrow Palermo dialect that means "magic".
It might seem like a collection of songs that have superstition as a theme, but in this album there is nothing superstitious, even if the men of the show and theater above all believe a lot in the evil eye or in the spell, but Bondě in these composed songs and sung strictly in the Palermo dialect, it intends to go further, giving the term magic a more romantic sense, declining love in a magical and irrational sense.
In fact, love is Maharia´s theme and the young singer-songwriter intends to convey to the listener his sensations and feelings about him, which only a man in love and therefore an irrational man can have.
To tell the truth he is not an artist known to the general public, but we like to promote this concert, because Alessio Bondě deserves to be known and above all appreciated because his music has a soul base, which ranges from nu-folk up to great soundtracks of classic films by Hollywood stars.
If there hadn´t been the pandemic, the album would have presented it already in 2020 when it was finished, but unfortunately the restrictions did not allow to organize a better debut that finally kicks off in this fantastic tour that will take him to the major Sicilian theaters .
Alessio Bondě is part of that generation of young Sicilians like Colapesce and Di Martino, whom we learned about in the Sanremo 2021 Festival with the song “Musica Leggerissima”, which will surely go a long way.
