As every year Trapani is decorated with a series of events and demonstrations for the upcoming Christmas holidays. There are many appointments that up to January 16 revive the city as part of the "Mediterranean Christmas" festival, sponsored by the municipality of Trapani in collaboration with the July Musicale Trapanese and various associations that have given their willingness to entertain young and old in the fantastic world of Santa Claus.
We all know Christmas is the children´s party par excellence, but adults are also fascinated by the magical atmosphere of Christmas lights and sounds; in particular this year there are many appointments starting from the entertainment for children at the Santa Claus house which is located at the entrance of Villa Margherita, inside which, as every year, a small funfair has been set up .
Also in front of the entrance to the municipal villa, the ATM has made available a train that every weekend from 4 to 8 pm will leave for a tour that from viale Regina Margherita will head towards the port area and then deviate towards via Libertà and return at the terminus.
As for the shows, we point out those of the fire, but also itinerant concerts, entertainment for children in Piazza Saturno, Piazza Municipio and at the Casina delle Palme; in particular, in the latter location, a Christmas village will be set up for the little ones, where they can try their hand at recreational workshops.
There will also be traditional bagpipers who will go to all elementary and middle schools to give students in this particular period of the pandemic some healthy Christmas atmosphere.
All events are free except for the show "Il memoria che se ne ha" at the Ariston cinema theater organized by the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, the Gospel concert on 21 December at 9 pm at the Church of the Collegio and the New Year´s concert on 2 January at Theater “A. Leopard ".
The program may undergo variations and please note that indoor events require a mandatory green pass as per anti Covid legislation.
