A photographic exhibition will be inaugurated on November 15 at 10.30 at the Torre di Ligny, curated by Sicilia Antica, an association that spends itself on the protection and enhancement of cultural and environmental heritage, and dedicated to two protagonists who characterize the beauty of the our territory or the seagulls and the fantastic sunsets that can be admired every evening, especially in the summer, in our beautiful Trapani.
Perhaps for someone the seagull may be an unpleasant omnivorous predator, but it is still a typical bird of a coastal city like Trapani with its characteristic sound that also recalls to those who live in the hinterland the healthy sea air and that marine atmosphere that it has. always its charm.
The photos were taken by photographers Francesco Torre, Mario Torrente and Vito Callotta, who are not professional photographers, but just enjoy capturing wonderful subjects that distinguish our territory.
It will be an exhibition that in a certain sense promotes our territory for the benefit of many tourists who are still on vacation and why not also of the many distracted people of Trapani who have forgotten what our territory is made of or worse yet have never known.
As we said, the authors of the photographs on display are amateur photographers because in their life they have done or are carrying out other activities such as Francesco Torre, university professor geoarchaeologist and current president of the University Consortium of Trapani, Mario Torrente, journalist and collaborator of the local television broadcaster Telesud and finally Vito Callotta, lawyer.
For those who want to feast their eyes, we are happy to recommend this exhibition which will be open every day until November 25, unless extended.
