One of the characteristic gastronomic products of Paceco together with the yellow melon is the characteristic red garlic of Nubia, which will be the protagonist of a special, perhaps festival is nothing short of, a festival linked to this variety of garlic, characterized by an intense purple red color, with a very strong and decisive taste and smell.
Nubian red garlic has been officially included in the list of traditional Italian agri-food products of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies.
The cultivation of the precious bulb takes place largely within the Saline integral nature reserve of Trapani and Paceco and that is why the food and wine review can be an opportunity for tourism development to attract a multitude of visitors to these areas.
This great party will be staged in the small and large square of Nubia, a hamlet of Paceco, from 29 July to 1 August, with tastings, exhibition areas and performances by the local dance schools.
The event, which is now in its fourth edition, includes a fairly rich program starting, as we said, with the performance of a "Passione Danza" dance school and followed by a cabaret show with the brothers Manuguerra and Giusy at 9.30 pm. Special guest the singer Ignazio Sugamiele.
On Saturday 31 July, another dance school "Aventura Latina Dance School" will be the protagonist and at 9.30 pm there will be a very special guest, Giovanna Sorrentino, whom we learned about last spring on the television program The Voice Senior.
The review, organized by the pro loco of Nubia and with the patronage of the Municipality of Paceco, will close on Sunday 1 August with other shows and singing performances.
