The 13th edition of Stragusto, the international festival of street food, held in Trapani from 21 to 25 July organized by the Trapani Welcome association, the Proloco Trapani Centro and with the patronage of the Municipality of Trapani, is restarting.
Also this year, due to the restrictions due to the Coronavirus, there will be a "smart" edition spread through the streets of the historic center of Trapani, within the restaurants that have decided to join.
Over the years, Stragusto has delighted many tourists and visitors by offering a rich choice of street food, not only Italian but also international, in an ideal world tour through the smells and flavors of international cuisine.
So no longer Piazza Ex Mercato del Pesce, location of the past years, but the streets of the historic center of Trapani, where visitors can go directly to the premises that will offer take-away dishes specially prepared for the occasion by local chefs.
Street food, as always, will cover typical local products, those from Palermo and international ones from Argentina and Tunisia.
This year too, the classic Florentine Lampredotto and good wine will not be missing, because where there is to eat, there is also to drink with the opportunity to taste local wines with wine tasting curated by professional sommeliers.
As always, there will be collateral initiatives such as guided bike tours to discover the wonders of Trapani salt by the tourist guides association.
The cost of the ticket (adults 10 euros-children 5 euros) will include admission to the Nubia Salt Museum.
To give visitors all the information on Stragusto, various information stands are scattered throughout the city, where qualified operators will give gourmets the opportunity to buy tokens to spend in restaurants.
