The third edition of "Trapanincontra", a literary review organized by the Municipality of Trapani and the Fardelliana Library and curated by the journalist writer Giacomo Pilati, kicks off on 6 July.
Also this year the bill is full of great protagonists of Italian culture, who present their latest literary effort.
The location of the exhibition will be the Casina delle Palme recently renovated and returned to the people of Trapani who will finally be able to admire it after a few years of closure.
The event in some of its appointments had to take place since the winter months, but unfortunately due to the epidemiological emergency the meetings have been moved to the summer with outdoor appointments.
We start, as we said, next 6 July with the Trapanese writer Stefania Auci, who with her latest novel "Winter of the lions" has once again climbed the peaks of the Italian rankings.
On 11 July at 19.00, the sports journalist Marino Bartoletti will be guest, who will present his book "Cena degli dei", a sort of modern fairy tale set in the present day to discover some of the monuments of recent human history .
The third appointment is scheduled for July 14 at 9.15 pm with the writer Gaetano Savatteri, who presents his book entitled "Four investigations in Makari", the famous detective novel, which inspired the fiction "Makari", a champion of ratings in the past television season.
On July 16, space for Antonio Monda, artistic director of the Rome Film Festival, who presents his latest book entitled "The Prince of the World", a novel that reconstructs the history of New York, a city par excellence defined as the "capital of the world".
On July 27, appointment with Catena Fiorello, sister of Beppe and Rosario, who confirms once again with the novel “Amuri” to be a great writer.
On 31 July, Rai journalist Riccardo Iacona will be a guest in the splendid liberty setting of the Casina delle Palme, presenting his book “No more heroes in the ward”, a series of stories of many Italians affected by Covid.
The month of August opens with the psychiatrist and sociologist Paolo Crepet presenting his book “Beyond the storm”, a sort of inner psychoanalysis on people affected by the coronavirus.
On August 13, I met Mariza D’anna, a journalist and writer who presents a passionate story about a family who lived in Libya before it fell into the hands of Gaddafi in the famous 1969 coup.
On 21 August it will be the turn of Marco Rizzo, the famous Italian screenwriter who will present his book "The lesson of the elephant", an exciting story on the humanitarian emergency in Africa.
The review will close on August 28 with the book "A city between two baskets, 35 years in 11 games" written jointly by two sports journalists who are Andrea Castellano and Fabio Tartamella. The book tells of their long professional experience in Trapani basketball.
