Everything is ready in Segesta and not only for the Festival of Sustainable Night Visions, a great event in which young authors, but also established artists from all over Italy present their works, which are a sort of docu-fiction on major themes social and cultural events of our time.
There will be moments of reflection, but the focus of the event will be only the films, projected in streaming during the evening hours.
This event, which will be held from 27 to 29 May also in Salemi and Gibellina, also includes live moments in full compliance with the anti Covid rules and represents the first tourist-cultural event after the reopening after months of restrictions, because space is given to some authors who have something to say on highly topical social issues.
There will be moments of reflection arising from the vision of works presented by foreign artists, such as Serbs and Brazilians, thanks to the constant collaboration with the SiciliAmbiente Festival and the Sicilia Queer FilmFest.
Among the works on screen there will be the documentary “On Goethe´s footsteps in Sicily”, as the German writer was a great lover of the land of Sicily, which he visited many times during his life.
Parallel to the event held in Segesta in the temple of Aphrodite Urania, there will be a series of meetings at the Norman Swabian castle of Salemi and a tour of the contemporary art installations in the streets of Gibellina.
During the event, the works of the "Young Visions" competition will be communicated and awarded, in which very young girls and boys, aged between 13 and 20, participated, thanks to the video clips sent which had as their object the promotion of our territory from an artistic, cultural and environmental point of view.
