With a view to relaunching a season marked, unfortunately, by the health emergency, the municipal administration of Trapani launches in collaboration with the tour operators of the historic center the first edition of the event "Trapani Sud Sound Festival" scheduled from 4 to September 6.
A three days of traditional Mediterranean rhythms with the new trends of modern music with electronic sounds and features.
In short, rhythms for young people and not only because music knows no age.
In this late summer event, which will hopefully be resumed in the years to come, it is inspired by other events that marked the economic and tourist turning point of the territories that organized them: we refer to events such as "Tomorrowland" in Boom (Belgium) or at the "Cruilla Festival" in Barcelona in Spain.
In this "Trapani Sud Sound Festival" the great artists of Sicilian and international music are the protagonists to give a breath of fresh air to the asphyxial coffers of Trapani tourist operators who need an impetus to save this summer 2020.
In addition to the tour operators in the historic center, the eventīs partners are July Music, the Fardelliana Library and ATM with a truly exciting program that will open on September 4 with a live Video Mapping show created by the Sicilian artist Pixel Shapes and then from 10pm until 2am several parties located here and there in various clubs.
On 5 September, boat parties, DJ sets and tastings of typical local products are scheduled in the morning; in particular very interesting will be the boat trips to make known the most beautiful places on the Trapani coast.
In the afternoon in the church of SantīAgostino there will be a live show entitled "Sound Experiences" with ancient sounds such as Tibetan bells that will mix with ultra modern music and sounds.
On Saturday evening there will be a concert by Planet Funk in the suggestive location, recently re-evaluated, of the Lazzaretto area, a group that plays exclusively electronic rock.
On Sunday 6 September, which is the last scheduled, there will be a grand finale with "Music & Friends", with the stage made available by the Musical July for the performance of local artists.
