The literary review "Trapanincontra" returns with the second edition, which will feature 4 wonderful locations in the city for literary meetings with the author for the presentation of their books.
Also this year the curator of the exhibition is the journalist Giacomo Pilati with the collaboration of the municipality of Trapani, the Ente Luglio Musicale and the Fardelliana Library, which will be the venue for some scheduled meetings, which have a dual purpose : on the one hand to promote the pleasure of reading, since we are the country that reads little by little, on the other to revitalize some cultural places such as the Casina delle Palme, which except for some sporadic events, lives most of the year completely abandoned to itself same.
This year´s review foresees the participation of writers who are very popular with the general public; in fact, we speak of authors of the caliber of Marcello Sorgi, Mario Calabresi and Nicola Gratteri.
The review includes the journalist Mario Calabresi at the Fardelliana Library on March 6, who presents his book entitled "The morning after" (ed. Mondadori) and then continues in the church of Sant´Agostino on Sunday March 8 with the anti-mafia magistrate Nicola Gratteri, who presents his book "The network of the invisible" (ed. Mondadori). The presentation will be preceded by a speech by Dino Petralia, Attorney General of Reggio Calabria.
On 20 March it will be the turn of Giuseppina Torregrossa who presents her latest literary work at the Pepoli museum entitled "The blood sausage of the Immaculate Conception".
The exhibition stops for the Easter holidays and will resume on April 17 always at the Fardelliana Library with Orazio Cancila who wrote for Russettino a very interesting book on the Florio dynasty.
On April 23 the well-known television journalist Marcello Sorgi will be in Trapani to present his book "Presumed guilty-the last days of Bettino Craxi" twenty years after his death.
The "Trapanincontra" review will close on 9 May at the Casina delle Palme for the presentation of Nino Rallo´s book "Usanza di mare".
