Also this year San Vito Lo Capo is preparing the program for the next summer season and waiting for the dates of the various events to be known, including the consolidated "Cous Cous Fest", as a preview there is the wonderful carnival with a rich calendar which starts on February 22 until Shrove Tuesday when the celebrations end.
San Vito Lo Capo does not have a great carnival tradition, but despite this it has scheduled two days dedicated to the most fun-loving party of the year, where everyone has fun happily.
Also this year the celebrations include the parade at 15.30 on Sunday 23 February of the allegorical floats, prepared by the local associations, which resume with irony also "exhausting" the characters of current affairs and customs in general, but also characters of the world of cartoons and comics, which are known by the little ones.
The parade takes place with dancing and music to entertain the numerous visitors, who even if we are in the middle of winter, do not fail to desert the Sanvitese community.
The celebrations are not only in S. Vito, but also in the hamlet of Castelluzzo, where there will be great moments of fun with masked groups organized by the local recreational associations.
Fun is guaranteed, because in San Vito Lo Capo they are great masters of hospitality and fun not only in the highly tested summer events, but also in events such as carnival, which are not really linked to the history of the area.
The 2020 carnival is the result of the synergy of the municipality with the associations and is an opportunity for the community to celebrate in full friendship and social inclusion through moments of conviviality and fun on that path of socio-cultural rebirth.
