This year Christmas in Chiazza is called "Premio Saturno Winter", a recognition that has 16 years of history behind it, which is assigned to the entrepreneurial Trapani that produces and earns not only from an entrepreneurial point of view, but also social and cultural.
The traditional format of the award, which began as a gala evening reserved for a select few and then became more popular, turning into a square event, these years, on Christmas, is further modified with a two-day event, 20 and 21 December in the square Ex Mercato del Pesce, which will include talks, cooking shows and shows, which will surely entertain a large number of people, who, weather permitting, will be pouring into the square to celebrate Christmas now near.
On the bill there are as always the great names of the enogastronomy of Trapani like Peppe Giuffrč who will be holding a space where he will prepare the Christmas cassata and a giant panettone in the shape of a Christmas tree.
Only on Sunday at lunchtime there will be the chef Pino Maggiore who will let those present taste his terrific trap couscous.
Do not miss the appointment with the comedy of Sasą Salvaggio who will present his cabaret show the "Pupiata Siciliana" and then a lot of fun again with live music with the "40 who dance the 90".
The Saturno Prize consists of a small statuette depicting the mythical epic character, who in the past has received prestigious awards such as the judge Giuseppe Ayala, the world champions windsurfing athletes such as Laura Linares and companies of the caliber of Castigliane or Cantine Pellegrino.
The event is organized by the TV station Telesud in collaboration with the Trapani Chamber of Commerce and with the sponsorship of the municipal administration.
