After the great summer tour that took her around Sicily during the summer, Fiorella Mannoia continues her concerts on our island with two great events, one of which, on December 5th in Marsala in the prestigious Teatro Impero.
Fiorella Mannoia is one of the most important interpreters of the Italian music scene for her particular vocal timbre.
He began his career in 1968, treading the stage of the Ariston Theater in Sanremo five times, managing to win the critics´ prize twice; yet his beginnings did not portend that he would become a famous singer, in fact he started working as a cascatrice together with his brothers to do the stand-in for some films, but thanks to the 1968 Castrocaro Festival, Fiorella Mannoia understood that stuntwoman wasn´t his way, but that of music; in fact he won that singing competition, getting a record deal as a prize.
Since then his musical career has been a continuous growth, publishing as many as 39 albums, including 19 in the studio, 5 live and 15 collections, but his greatest success was "What women do not say", which he presented at Sanremo Festival of 1987 with great public and critical success.
Today, Fiorella Mannoia brings 13 unreleased tracks from her new record project called "Staff" to her live concerts, and started with a great concert at the Teatro Verdi in Florence.
It´s called that, because the album contains songs that tell a small and humble personal collection of stories about humanity, life and feelings.
In support of the songs there are several photographs taken by Mannoia itself in various parts of the world.
