Bagli Olio e Mare is back, a delicious event with the typical dishes of traditional Sicilian cuisine, which takes place from July 26th to 28th in the picturesque setting of Baia Santa Margherita beach in Castelluzzo a few kilometers from San Vito Lo Capo.
As always, the gastronomic event is organized by the cultural tourist association Castelluzzo under the patronage of the municipality of San Vito Lo Capo, which has made available a gastronomic village to taste delicious dishes of freshly caught fried fish with a good glass of white wine and lots of good music.
To guarantee the quality of the products used there are the Slow Food presidia (Pomodoro Pizzutello di Paceco, the almonds of Noto, the red garlic of Nubia, the sea salt of Trapani, the wheat Timilia and the yellow melon of Paceco).
The tastings are 10.00 and are during the days of the event for lunch from 12.00 to 15.30 and for dinner from 19.00 to 22.30.
As we said however, there will be not only gastronomic tastings, but also guided tours at Baglio Cusenza; in fact, on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July, guided hikes will take place in the heart of the Zingaro Nature Reserve in collaboration with the Reserve staff, upon reservation at the Reserve itself or at the ticket office of the event, which is located in the affiliated ATCC facilities.
As for the music, there will be musical entertainment that will begin at 10.30 pm: in fact, on the stage set up on the beach of Castelluzzo the band La Sicania will be on stage in the first evening of Bagli, Olio and Mare, on Saturday 27th July it will be the turn of Improband, while the conclusion of Sunday 28 will be entrusted to a show that is a tribute to the career of Gianni Morandi with "Un Mondo dŽAmore" Morandi Tribute Band.
