There is a great appointment with culture, the literature scheduled in Trapani from April 4th to June 11th, which will see as protagonists 6 wonderful places of our city that will be the locations of the literary meetings with the author for the presentation of their last literary toil.
Reviews of this kind with important writers are usually made during the summer, but the curator of the exhibition, the journalist Giacomo Pilati with the patronage of the town of Trapani, the Ente Luglio Musicale and the Biblioteca Fardelliana decided to organize this spring .
As the title of the “Trapanincontra” event says, the event includes a series of literary meetings that have a dual purpose: on the one hand promoting the pleasure of reading with the public, on the other hand revitalizing some cultural places with reviews that will surely recall the greatest number of people also for the popularity that these writers have with the general public; in fact we talk about the likes of Gherardo Colombo, Catena Fiorello, the journalist Toni Capuozzo and many others.
The review will begin on Thursday 4 April at the Fardelliana Library with Simonetta Agnello Hornby presenting her book entitled "La Mennulara" (ed. Feltrinelli) and then continuing to the church of Sant´Alberto on 10 April with Toni Capuozzo, a great journalist from Mediaset, who presents his book "The cradle of terror".
The exhibition stops for the Easter holidays and will resume on April 29 again at the Fardelliana Library with Luca Bianchini who wrote a very interesting book for Mondadori entitled "I know that one day you will come back".
On May 9th, the recently reopened Laurentina Hall after some restoration work will host the meeting with local journalist Ninni Ravazza who will present his book "Diario di Tonnara".
On June 6 in the church of Sant´Agostino the magistrate Gherardo Colombo will return to our territory, known for the events of Mani Pulite, who will not speak, however, of judicial investigations, but will present his essay published for Bollate Soringhieri on "Democracy" .
On May 24th the exhibition moves to the Pepoli Museum for the presentation of the book by Silvana Grasso who wrote a book for Marsilio entitled "La domenica vestivi di rosso".
The review "Trapanincontri" closes on 11 June and already the summer will be felt; in fact the Casina delle Palme reopens for the presentation of the book "All the times I cried", written by Catena Fiorello, famous art sister of two great matadors like Rosario and Beppe.
