The town of San Vito Lo Capo is not only sea and cous cous with enchanting beaches that attract thousands of tourists from all over the summer season, but it is also a carnival with a rich calendar of events and events throughout the first weekend of March until Shrove Tuesday when the festivities end.
The seaside village does not have a great tradition of carnival, since a few years the city administration has tried its hand in the organization, but despite this has planned two days dedicated to the most colorful festival of the year, where everyone, but really all, both great little ones have fun madly.
This year the festivities are divided into two parts, the first concerns the hamlet of Castelluzzo, where on Saturday 2 March there will be several masked groups organized by the "Dance Life" and "RitmoSfera Dance" recreational associations, while on Sunday 3 march in the city center of San Vito Lo Capo at 3.30 pm will take to the streets the allegorical wagons made by the members of "Volpara Eventi", "Charlie Eventi" and the Volunteers of the Rainbow Group.
As always, the allegorical chariots resume with an irony also "slaughtering" the characters of current events to enhance their defects and certain attitudes, but also characters from the world of cartoons and comics, which are known by children to entertain the premises, but also the numerous visitors, who even if we find ourselves in the middle of winter, do not fail to desert the Sanvitese community.
The carnival 2019 is the result of the synergy of the municipality with associations with a program of initiatives in collaboration with the local ProLoco, because The Carnival is an opportunity for the community to party in relaxation and sharing.
