San Vito Lo Capo is not only sea, sun and beach, but it is also mountain and nature trails and those who love long walks, San Vito Lo Capo also offers for the most demanding hikers opportunities for trekking to reach the highest peaks and enjoy unique views.
On the occasion of the walk in the nature of February 10th organized by the Cai of Erice with the patronage of the municipalities of the Agroericino, it will be possible to follow an itinerary that crosses Monte Acci which is located in the Zingaro Reserve.
The mountains of this reserve, established in 1980, extend far beyond the boundaries of the reserve itself and form the mountain ridge of San Vito Lo Capo; so we can say that San Vito Lo Capo is embraced by the sea and the mountain with many resources that allow it to seasonally adjust the tourist offer at different times of the year.
The Passo del Lupo, the Monte Scardina, the Monte Speziale and the Monte Acci are part of the Zingaro mountains, precisely, which will be the protagonist of Sunday 10 February, where hikers with a level of difficulty will be able to admire one of the most beautiful and exciting views of Sicily, along several dirt roads with the ability to draw water and make a pleasant stop.
