Until next January 6th there will be in Trapani and in the hamlets the great review of "Christmas Mediterranean", the result of a great synergy between the Municipality of Trapani, the traders, the cultural and category associations and the simple citizens with the logistic involvement of ATM and the Musical Julian Trapanese.
The rich program includes a series of events, concerts and traveling events, all enriched by traditional nativity scenes and Christmas markets that will outline a rich program that will unfold in the streets, squares and churches of the historic center: an attention particular will be given to the popular neighborhoods and villages to enhance and involve the entire municipal area.
Villa Margherita will be transformed into the fantastic children´s garden with animations, games and entertainment, and throughout the month of December there will be educational workshops with the theme "The Museum tells the story of Christmas".
It is an initiative aimed at schoolchildren in the area by the Associazione Amici del Museo Pepoli.
Even the D´Alì palace will dress up with the lights and the scenographic elaboration of the Video Mapping curated by Dario Denso Andriolo, who is considered one of the most quoted artists of this genre.
From December 14 to 23, the former Piazza Mercato del Pesce will be for the third consecutive year the location of Christmas in ´Chiazza with performances and musical concerts and there will be no shortage of street performers with the Teatro del Fuoco, the Christmas concert.
While for the evening of December 31st, great live music is planned to celebrate the new year in Vittorio Veneto pizza with toast and fireworks in music.
In all this we must not forget that Christmas is time for cribs and this year there are so many to see: from the mechanical nativity scene that is on display in the church of S. Nicola to the living in medieval style set up in the Mother Church of Xitta.
Christmas Mediterraneo will end on 6 January with the parade of the Three Wise Men in the streets of the Fontanelle neighborhood in the company of the Drums of Trapani.
