After the suggestive prologue of the International Review of Music and Popular Instruments with "Zampogne dal Mondo", the calendar will include "Signal Flow" on Saturday 15 December at 6 pm at the Gabel Hamed theater, where five documentaries will be shown on military bases in Sicily in collaboration with the National Film School of Palermo.
Sunday December 16 always at the theater Gabel Hamed at 18 will be shown the film by Alessio Cremonini "On my skin" that treats the tragic story of Stefano Cucchi and his last days of life after his arrest.
EricéNatale, however, does not forget the little ones and here are the Sicilian pipers who will parade through the streets of the town and schools on 20-21 and 22 December before the school activity stops for the traditional Christmas parties.
It is not Christmas even if there are no Santa Clauses who will parade by bike through the streets of the village and the valley on Saturday morning 22 and Sunday 23 December, while on St. Stephen´s day, in the church of S. Martino di Erice you can hear the voices of the City of Trapani Choir in the Christmas concert and Thursday, December 27 at 17.00 for the streets of Erice there will be the Drepanum Dixie Band.
Still the protagonist will be the Gabel Hamed theater with theatrical performances for children and Christmas carols by the Voglia di Vivere Cooperative and the Associazione Dopo di Noi that will animate a delicious show in the afternoon on Monday 17th December.
For the end of year parties in the context of EricéNatale with the collaboration of the EriceArte Foundation, there will be a musical show with the Impro Band group to celebrate the New Year for the night of S. Silvestro in Piazza della Loggia. Finally pyrotechnic games and live music until the first light of dawn.
Our Christmas container concludes with the Befana festival which includes 5 January at 6 pm in the church of S. Martino songs and music for the Epiphany in collaboration with the Friends of Music, while on 6 January the Befana takes away all the holidays with the evocative march of the Befane and the Magi through the streets of Erice.
