The works of Mario Cassisa at the S. Rocco museum in Trapani are on display until March 2019, which he realized from 1958 until 2008 when he died; it is an immense artistic production, that from the sculptures to the paintings and also a series of bronzes, because Mario Cassisa for those who did not know him, was a great multifaceted artist ranging in different artistic forms, where he was able to show his really appreciated genius from everyone.
Born in Palermo but adopted by Trapani, Cassisa has traveled a lot during her life to the research of art: the United States, Mexico and various European capitals, trying to make all of human history her own.
His cultural interests were varied and ranged from literature to anthropology and from music to archeology, finding expression in his artistic production that can be divided into the following periods:

Particular attention should be paid to his pictorial production, which is heavily influenced by pre-Columbian civilization, thanks to the influences received during his many trips to the Americas.
These paintings have had such immense success that they have now gained a very large market, consecrating Mario Cassisa as an artist with authoritative talents.
The exhibition can be visited on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays from 17.00 to 20.00, but it is also possible to visit the exhibition outside these hours by telephone appointment at no. 338.1475985.
