Continue the great music at the Cous Cous Fest of S. Vito Lo Capo with the Fanfara Station, which is a small large orchestra composed of wind instruments that are well combined with electronic music and rhythmic songs of the musical tradition of the Maghreb.
This group comes from the idea of a Tunisian singer-songwriter, an American trumpet player and a DJ, who have carried out a musical project that celebrates the epic of Mediterranean migrant peoples at a time when the phenomenon of immigration from the North Africa is very current.
Speaking of immigration and its problems to the rhythm of music is a bet that has been won, because the musicians have brought on stage in the various tours that have made an interweaving of acoustic and electronic sounds that have met the favor of the public and will surely meet also that of San Vito Lo Capo.
On stage the Fanfara Station will put many instruments ranging from percussion to wind instruments that we know as the trumpet, the trombone and the clarinet, but also three winds of Tunisian musical tradition such as nay, mizued and zocra.
As a musical group in the record landscape the Fanfara Station are quite new, because it dates back to the spring of this year their first album, which is called "Tebourba" which crowns a long work done by 10 years of great musical experiences, which are also intertwined with Neapolitan musicians like Eduardo De Crescenzo, Daniele Sepe, Enzo Avitabile and many others.
The appointment, therefore, for those who want to hear good music different from what is our musical culture is Monday, September 24 on the stage set up on the beach, from 22, maybe after having tasted a good dish of cous cous, which from those parts was born and has spread in our parts.
