There are various cars and motorcycles that more than others enter the heart of the people and with the passage of time, the more they age, the more they become instruments of worship and veneration.
We are talking about the Lambretta, the legendary Italian scooter, which took its name from an area of Milan, the Lambrate district, so-called because the Lambro river flows from where the production plants were located.
This means that revolutionized the motorization of the Italians in the immediate post-war period was produced from 1947 to 1972 and in these 25 years of production the success was enormous, so much that a production license was granted also in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India and Spain . The Indian government even bought the entire assembly line in 1972.
In the late sixties with the economic boom, there was an explosion in the sale of cars, because the four-wheeled vehicle was within everyone´s reach and sales of Lambretta suffered a sharp decline, forcing the company Innocenti to fight for survive, interrupting production.
Over the years, then, it became a collector´s vehicle for fans of the genre, which from 11 to 13 May will meet in Trapani in the 26th edition of a national gathering, organized by "Lambretta Club Sicilia".

Sunday, May 13th 08:00 - 09:00 participants reception (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele) with media exposure 09:30 am departure for Erice city tour and tasting of typical Erice sweets 12:30 am return to Trapani and buffet lunch at Approdo di Angelino 16:00 closing event and greetings.
