The tourist season in San Vito Lo Capo is at the starting line and starts with the first event on the bill with the student beach volley championships that this year make a stop for the final right in the most famous fishing village not only in the province of Trapani, but also in Italy.
They will be four days of great sport, but also fun, because S. Vito Lo Capo will be filled with many young people from all over Italy who will compete for the title of national champions after a journey that lasted a few months, where the various representatives played hard for overcome the various tests and selections.
Location of this week of sport, which introduces the summer season, will be the beach, where the playgrounds will be equipped and the entire village, which will entertain the audience with music that will resonate throughout the bay.
It is the first time that S. Vito Lo Capo has hosted a student beach volleyball championship, but in any case the seaside village could not fail to host an event linked by its nature on the sand.
The championship is sponsored by the municipality and the Region of Sicily, and is organized directly by the MIUR and is aimed at young people born in the years 2001-2002 and 2003 who attend higher education institutions.
Participation is also admitted to the boys who are registered with the FIPAV.
The game of beach volleyball for those who do not know it is similar to that of volleyball, but it differs in some parts as on the number of players in the field that are only 2 and on the score that is up to 21 with the distance of at least 2 points.
The finals will take place in two categories that are male and female and will take place every day until Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm with 3-point knockout competitions.
