Continue the theatrical season in Marsala which is enjoying great success both for the public and for the critics, and certainly there will be no lack of positive appreciation for the opera "La scuola" directed by Daniele Lucchetti, the same director who made a very successful film in 1995.
The play is not based on the film, but it was the film that was taken from the eponymous theatrical piéce, which debuted in 1992 thanks to a group of truly exceptional actors led by the great Silvio Orlando.
26 years have passed since yesterday and today Silvio Orlando is still on the scene of what really has become a cult, which faithfully reflects what is now the Italian school full of problems and contradictions.
For Silvio Orlando it is the most important show of his career, because this work is one of the rare cases in which the screenplay has been revised and corrected based on what are today´s problems, which are not different from those of yesterday.
The show is obviously set in a school that approaches the final scrutiny of a very unruly and unprepared class, so that there is a lot of apprehension on the part of the teaching group about what is to be done, because the teachers are aware that they have the future of their boys in their hands.
During this operation hopes, ambitions, social and personal conflicts are intertwined with the various characters that are very varied among them: prof. Vivaldi of Italian and history is the most affable and much loved by the students, then there is the Majello, interpreted by Vittoria Belvedere, who teaches mathematics and is very beautiful, but definitely in crisis, because she is leaving with her husband.
It´s a hilarious comedy that deserves to be seen, so do not miss the appointment for Tuesday, April 17 at 21.00 at the Teatro Impero of Marsala.
