Carnival Sunday and Fat Monday are expected as always the allegorical wagons, who will meet at 2.30 pm and then begin the parade through the streets of the town with arrival at 20.30 at the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
Carnival is essentially a time of celebration for everyone, involving people of all ages; and this is what this year we wanted to give special attention to the elderly at the Day Center of Paceco, where the wagons on Monday 12 February will gather to start the parade, which as always will end in the evening at the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele for the grand finale.
For the organization of the carnival, as always, the cultural associations of Paceco are involved with the coordination of the local Pro Loco, which for some years has started a serious policy of de-seasonalization of tourism with events such as this, which attract visitors to the territory.
Moreover, the cultural associations perform among the citizens an activity of glue through the involvement of the city workers in the preparation of the wagons, which this year will be inspired by the current political and customs, depicting funny and provocative masks, which take targeting power and its representatives to ridicule them.
