Even Petrosino is preparing for the great carnival kermesse that this year includes a series of events under the banner of fun and entertainment, settling among the places that organizes one of the most important carnivals in western Sicily.
This year there are three associations that set up the allegorical floats, which will parade through the streets of the city with great enthusiasm from citizens and tourists alike, because the aim is to increase the offer with different events that de-seasonalize tourism; in addition to the wagons will be present several masked groups and are: the group "New Generation" (All down to earth), the group "Attaccaticce" (The Cavemen - The Stone Age), the group "The Mythical" (Avemus Papa ), the group "Vips" (When everything gets tough).
The dances, it is appropriate to say, will start on Saturday 10 February at 16.30 with the procession of Carri, Masks and Balli. Departure from Piazza Maria SS. Delle Grazie to continue on via De Vita, via X Luglio, piazza della Repubblica and viale Giacomo Licari.

Delle Grazie, Via Francesco De Vita, Via X Luglio, Piazza della Repubblica, Viale Giacomo Licari. Hours 17.00 - Childrenīs Carnival. Masks, dances and animation. At the Multipurpose Center. 21.00 hours - Carnival Show. Performance on the stage of the choreography and the masked groups. Corner Viale Giacomo Licari and Via Francesco De Vita.
MONDAY 12 FEBRUARY 4.00 pm - Quartiere in Festa. Carts, animation, music and choreography. The wagons will remain parked on Viale Giacomo Licari.
TUESDAY 13 FEBRUARY 4.00 pm - Procession of allegorical floats and masked groups. Departure from Via X Luglio, Piazza della Repubblica, Viale Giacomo Licari. Hours 17.00 - Childrenīs Carnival.
