After the great success of Cous Cous Fest, San Vito Lo Capo is the season of events with a show that does not include a wine and food show, but a cultural and sporting event of greatness with the morphology contest dedicated to Arabian horses.
Practically Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October the seaside village of San Vito Lo Capo will be the location of a race in which sixty specimens from Sicilian breeds and the center of Italy will be challenged in the Arabian Horses Cup Trapani.
The sporting event will take place at the equestrian field of Via Savoia, which is behind the municipal boules.
Again this year, the event was promoted with the patronage of the commune of San Vito Lo Capo by the National Horse Association of Arabia, representing several breeders and horse owners, and takes care of selecting the best specimens.
These specimens are then exhibited in reviews by so many enthusiasts and curious, including many children lovers of this proud and ancient animal, considered a symbol of dexterity and speed.
In fact, for children, moments dedicated to riding horses with as short as enjoyable demonstration tours.
The equestrian race this weekend at San Vito Lo Capo is not a speed race, but a real beauty contest where the horses will perform in fourteen categories, according to sex and year of birth.
To evaluate the morphology of the specimens will be an international jury of first magnitude, which will order the best horses according to the following parameters: head, neck, back and harmony, arts and movement.
It will start on Saturday afternoon, from 16am and Sunday morning, from 10am to 13pm, with preliminary races; the first and the second placed between the foals, the foals, the mares and the stallions will have access to the final championships on Sunday afternoon starting from the 15th.
For this type of event the prize consists of a stallion mount and free access to "Palermo Arabian Horses Cup 2018".
