The next edition of "Blu Sea Land", the Expo of the Agro-Food Districts of the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East, will take place on 28 September in Mazara del Vallo.
The event, which has several patrons such as the municipality of Mazara del Vallo, the Sicilian Region and the Ministries of Economic Development, Agricultural Policies and the Ministry of the Environment, is organized by the Agricultural Production District of Mazara del Vallo and has the with the aim of promoting the development of the green and blue economy, because today more than ever the protection of sustainable economic development is not only economic but also environmental, social and cultural.
Blue Sea Land also points to the promotion and enhancement of agro-fish food and food specialties, which come not only from our country but also from all over the world, because today it is reasoned in terms of the globalization of markets that go beyond the normal geographical boundaries .
The 2016 edition was particularly fortunate because the numbers were big; to name a few: 31 ambassadors of participating countries with their stands, 24 mayors of Italian municipalities, 3 chamber presidents and 3 regional councilors present.
As every year, tourists and visitors will usually be able to visit the various stands, which are set up in the historic center of Mazara del Vallo, particularly in Casbah, the ancient Arab quarter in the heart of the city.
Mazara del Vallo once again demonstrates that he is also the capital of not only welcoming but also integration, where for decades the encounter between cultures and religions is a consolidated reality.
There are several collateral appointments; in fact, there will be no show and cooking show of food and wine specialties that the more than 300 accredited companies will exhibit, while 50 will be the foreign delegations present and 80 buyers who will attend the meetings with the Foreign Trade Agency.
