The 9th edition of SiciliAmbiente, an international festival of documentaries, animations and short films related to environmental issues, human rights and sustainability, will take place on 18 July in San Vito Lo Capo.
Today, the protection of the environment becomes more and more a priority that politicians and rulers around the world have to keep in mind, and it is therefore essential to raise public awareness of the respect for the environment as it becomes very important in How much future generations will pay the price.
The organizers of the exhibition with the patronage of the municipality of San Vito Lo Capo have set the theme of sustainable tourism as the theme of this edition, which is especially important in a tourist resort like San Vito Lo Capo. 2017 was declared by the UN as an international year of sustainable, environmentally friendly tourism, where natural, social and artistic are the real protagonists.
For this year´s edition, a new logo has been designed, featuring a projector placed on the beach, recalling the features of sustainable tourism.
The show includes a market lab at the beginning of the stage, with all the selected artisans participating and will be set up in the Santuario square and along Via Savoia on the weekend before the show; As of July 18, as we said, the show will begin on July 23 with a final night in which will be awarded a jury of experts not only in the film and documentary field.
