Everything is ready for the ninth edition of "Stragusto", the food and wine show dedicated to street food that attracts a large audience participation in the hot summer nights of late July.
A concentration of flavors and smells organized by the Trapani Welcome association in collaboration with the PS Advert and with the patronage of the town of Trapani.
From 26 to 30 July, a rich menu of street food is planned, a food that is poor and cheap but today, appropriately re-evaluated, is an excellence to be exported and made known to many tourists who will crowd the historic center of Trapani During the evenings of the event.
Stragusto wants to exalt the flavors offered by the operators in the exhibition stands: Trapanese, Friulian, Tuscan, Umbrian, Madonie, Tunisia, Spain and Palestine.
There will also be local products with the cuisine of the Poseidon Restaurant and the indisputable sweetness of Paceco´s yellow melon as well as the Nivarata granite.
As always, Stragusto´s location is the former Fish Market Square. Many gastronomic operators who, according to a long-proven formula, will offer tasting specials every night from 6.30 pm to midnight, such as cabbuccia, arancini, pannelli, focacce, branca, sea food and couscous to trapanese.
In addition to these tasting products (strictly prepared live), the program includes various entertainment and educational moments such as free evening cooking shows and live music performances.
Those wishing to attend tastings can buy a carnet with a minimum cut of 5 euros directly during the event.
The cost of the dishes ranges from a minimum of € 1.00 to a maximum of € 6.00 and, ticket to hand, each one will be able to choose the preferred gourmet route.
