Also this year, from May 19th to 21st, the San Domenico staircase will be covered by fantastic floral creations in the seventh edition of Art & Flowers, the great flourish created by young artists from Trapani, who will decorate it with the most beautiful flowers.
Who will come from via Garibaldi will be able to climb the staircase and admire in a kind of rose-colored Crescent the wonders that nature and human art can accomplish.
This year´s theme for floral creations is "Mara of Nazareth, Mother of Hope" during the celebrations for the centenary of Marian apparitions in Fatima.
PROGRAM OF THE EVENT
Friday 19th May from 17.00 there will be the inauguration ceremony (entrance via Garibaldi) with the extraordinary participation of the Tamburini Trinacria Trapani group. During the days of the event, there will be an art exhibition in Piazza S. Domenico and on Sunday, May 21st, an eponymous painting will be opened. At 21.45 on Saturday, May 20th there will be a concert by the choir St. John Paul II of Valderice, while the show will be open from 17 to one night. At the event, who will, at 5.30 pm, will be able to attend the Mass for the Easter Sunday 6th. The event is organized by the "Trapani: Tradumari & venti" Culture Association, with the free sponsorship of the Municipality of Trapani, in collaboration with the Rettoria San Domenico, "Video Service" by Franco Marino and the Telesud TV broadcaster. The artistic direction is entrusted to M. Claudio Maltese.
