Preparations are underway for the tenth edition of the "carnival of Paceco", which conquered during these years considerable importance between events folklore province of Trapani with great public appeal, including many tourists, they do very well at ´ local economy in the great perspective of seasonal adjustment of tourism.
The carnival is not only the party for the children, but even the biggest are involved in dance in masks in two days of great fun with the parade of floats prepared expertly by local craftsmen, who, inspired by the themes of ´ current affairs and customs, have portrayed the fun and provocative masks. After all, the very essence of the carnival is fun and ironic provocation of the masks, which target power and its representatives to ridicule them.
This year the festival is expected that the day February 25 the children gather at the Auditorium "Regina Pacis" for a party organized by the parish mask.
The real festivities and their start Sunday, February 26th with the parade of floats, which depart from the town park at 15.30 to parade along the streets of the town to arrive in the evening at 20.30 at the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, where the festival will culminate.
Monday, February 27 replicates even with the parade of floats, which will gather at 15.00 at the extension of Via Regina Margherita and then starting with the parade at 16.00; while the arrival is scheduled at 20.30 in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
