The town of Custonaci is preparing for one of the highlights, you can not miss in the calendar of Christmas events: we are talking about the "Living Nativity", which each year is staged in the Mangiapane Cave in Scurati fraction (Custonaci).
This event, which celebrates 35 years of life each year attracts many visitors, especially tourists, who can admire the most famous cave, which is located inside the Monte Cofano Reserve, which in the past has been chosen as the location for several films and television series such as "Inspector Montalbano".
Each year, over 160 performers including craftsmen, artists, peasant workers from across the local Sicily and listed give life to one of the most important events in human history: the birth of Jesus Christ. It will be re-created the cave of Bethlehem and the village of shepherds and farmers.
