Back for the third year running the festival of porcini mushrooms in Buseto Palizzolo, which will be the location October 28 to 30 exhibitions, tastings and cooking show.
The porcini mushroom is not a feature of our cuisine, but it has become over the years an excellent product of our tables with all its varieties very appreciated in the kitchen.
There will even guided tours at Bosco Scorace with a view to its enhancement, because it held with its 750 hectares one of the largest green areas of the hinterland Trapani.
Even if it is a festival of the summer away from the big spotlight, however, over the years it has attained some notoriety not only for residents but also for tourists, staying in the area and are lovers of the Sicilian hinterland products , the characteristic flavors of autumn.
The festival of porcini mushrooms is sponsored by the municipality of Buseto Palizzolo which in recent years has entered the national circuit of the fungus; There are also the patronage of the Tourism Region of Sicily and some entities, which operate in promoting tourism in the territory, such as Trapani Welcome.
