The Cous Cous Fest provides for Tuesday, September 20 another great musical moment with an artist, who has always stood out in the Italian music scene for intimate character and reflective of his lyrics. We are talking of Luca Carboni, which with its Pop-up tour in 2016 will be on stage at San Vito Lo Capo.
Another great moment of music that will be in the seaside village of San Vito, where the stage set up in Piazza Carboni Sanctuary will perform the songs in his latest album, which has already won a gold record for the super hit Luke the same.
Luca Carboni, of Bolognese origin, debuted on the music scene in 1981 as a guitarist of the rock band Teopaldi, who leaves in 1984 when he decided to make his debut as a soloist.
From that moment Luca Carboni began working with Gaetano Curreri, Lucio Dalla and Ron.
The album sold 30,000 copies, but you have to wait for the single "We´re going wrong" for the final consecration with 50,000 copies sold, thereby entering the ranking in the top 20 for several weeks.
Also in 1984 he won the Disco Green and Festivalbar.
From that moment Carboni joined the Italian music scene, making inroads especially among young people, who identify with the lyrics of his songs.
In 2016, finally, it was awarded the Wind Music Award 2016 in Gold Album category for his latest album, where eleven songs are contained in the texts very ironic.
In the enchanting surroundings of San Vito Lo Capo the Bolognese artist will perform his songs of his long repertoire with new arrangements and new versions in key electro and electropop, a kind of ideal trip made live starting from the 80s pop up to the present day.
